As it’s valentines day today, it got me thinking about a little rant I have had quite recently regarding a school that has banned valentines day cards been given out as they didn’t want to upset the ugly kids who won’t be getting any… again.
Seriously…
In my opinion this is gonna make matters worse. Kids need to get used to rejection, it’s dam good for them.
In that case they should ban doing games and picking leaders, then letting them choose their teams…
THIS is what you call true rejection, when you are in the last 2 every time, and then the person picking says “you can have Dazzie P, I’ll take the fat, blind 1 legged kid”…
THEN you know what proper rejection feels like. I got this all way through school and it hasn’t done me any harm.
OK I may have burned a few schools down in the past, but that wasn’t me, that was the voices.. “NOW LEAVE ME ALONE AND PUT SOME PANTS ON!!!”
